Chapter 9 - The Rooftop Showdown

Wind whipped across the rain-slicked helipad as Julian backed away toward the open ledge,
clutching a heavy metal briefcase like a shield. "Stay back, Edward! Don't come any closer or I’ll
jump—I swear I’ll take down everything we built!" Julian screamed, spittle flying from his lips.
Edward stopped ten paces away, his expression a mix of profound disappointment and absolute
authority. "You didn't build any of this, Julian. You merely occupied a seat you never earned. You
poisoned my wine, you terrorized my daughter, and you tried to bury me alive. But you forgot
one fundamental truth: true vision cannot be entombed," Edward replied calmly. Sirens wailed
far below in the concrete canyons of the city as tactical units swarmed the stairwells. Realizing
the game was finally over, Julian lunged forward in a blind, pathetic attempt to tackle Edward off
