Chapter 4 - Unmasking the Cowards"Is there anyone else," Clara’s voice rang out, steady and piercing, echoing through the cavernous hall, "who has something to say about my daughter?"

Not a single soul moved. The powerful elites who usually ruled the city with money and intimidation were completely paralyzed by a mother pushed past her breaking point.
Clara walked past the unconscious form of her husband, ignoring him entirely as she knelt back down beside little Lily. The little girl was still sobbing softly, burying her face in her mother's chest.
"It's okay, my sweet angel," Clara whispered, her voice softening instantly into pure, tender warmth as she wrapped her arms around the child. "Mommy is here. No one will ever hurt you again."
She scooped Lily up into her arms, standing firm and resolute. As she turned to walk toward the grand double doors of the exit, the crowd parted like the Red Sea, making way in terror and awe.
Just as she reached the threshold, the heavy oak doors swung open from the outside. A team of local police officers, accompanied by federal financial investigators, swarmed into the foyer, led by a stern-faced captain holding a stack of legal documents.
"Clara Sterling?" the captain asked, looking at her with a respectful nod.

"Yes," Clara replied calmly, holding Lily tighter.
"We have warrants for the immediate arrest of Bradley Sterling and his associates for massive corporate embezzlement, tax fraud, and domestic endangerment. Your digital evidence package has been fully verified. You and your daughter are officially safe."
