Chapter 5 - The Sunrise PromiseThe golden rays of early summer sunlight streamed through the massive bay windows of the estate, casting a warm, amber glow across the polished marble floors where tragedy had once struck.

Victoria stood on the grand balcony, holding a cup of coffee, looking out over the sprawling city skyline. The past had left its scars, but scars were proof of survival—proof that no matter how dark the night might seem, truth and justice always find a way to break through.

Mia ran out onto the balcony, holding a handmade drawing of two figures standing side by side under a bright sun, labeled simply: “Family.” She tugged gently on Victoria’s trench coat.

"Aunt Tori, look! I drew us," Mia said proudly.

Victoria knelt down, taking the drawing with tears of profound gratitude welling in her eyes. She pulled Mia into a tight, unbreakable embrace, resting her chin on the little girl's head.

"It’s the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, sweetheart," Victoria whispered, looking out toward the horizon where the sun climbed higher into a clear, limitless sky.

Hand in hand, they turned and walked back inside, ready to face a future filled with light, hope, and an unbreakable bond that nothing in the world could ever shatter again.
