There were no fake pillows, no scheming socialites, and no corporate spies hidden in the shadows.

Richard stood by the French doors, watching Sarah laugh as she danced with seven-year-old Leo near the indoor garden. The sunlight streamed through the glass, illuminating a home that was finally filled with genuine love and honesty.

Elena walked up beside him, handing him a glass of sparkling cider with a warm smile. "Looks like you finally built a real empire, Mr. Vance."

Richard smiled, wrapping an arm around his wife as she walked over to join them, resting her head gently against his shoulder. "Call me Richard, Elena. And you were right. This is the only wealth that ever truly mattered."

Sarah looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with deep affection. "Penny for your thoughts?"
