But Nathan discovered something unexpected.

Some had simply been afraid.
Nathan remembered Grace's words.
There is almost always a choice.
He finally understood what she meant.
Power was not the ability to force people.

Nathan chose differently.
He told Allison to release the evidence even if doing so destroyed his inheritance.
Grace stared at him.
“You could lose everything.”
