"The maid arranged this!"
She pointed at Anna.
"She wants money! She found some child and brought him here!"
Anna stared at her in disbelief.
"Look at his face," she said quietly.
Richard looked down.
Leo's eyes met his.
There was no need for a DNA test to explain what a father felt in that moment.
But Victoria continued.
"Richard, she's manipulating you!"
Then Leo spoke.
"She's lying."
Everyone turned toward him.
The little boy's voice was weak.
But steady.
"She lies when she's scared."
