The heavy oak doors of the family suite pushed open to reveal Dominic, Marcus’s fiercely loyal cousin and chief legal counsel.
“I’ve locked down every subsidiary corporation and severed all remaining voting shares tied to your mother,” Dominic reported crisply.
“Good work, Dom. Have the district attorney's office press every available felony charge without hesitation,” Marcus instructed.
“Already done. Bail has been denied due to flight risk and prior tampering charges,” Dominic said, tossing a thick legal brief on the desk.
“What about the medical staff who looked the other way?” Marcus asked, turning his gaze toward the city skyline outside.
“Internal affairs is conducting sweeping interrogations right now; nobody involved in covering this up will keep their medical license,” Dominic assured him.
