Chapter 8 - Dr. Harrison Arrives With Terrifying Lab Results
The heavy hospital door swung open once more as Dr. Harrison strode into the room carrying an urgent file folder.
“Marcus, what is happening down here? The central desk flagged an emergency security lockdown on this wing,” Dr. Harrison said.
“My mother tried to medically euthanize my daughter while she was sleeping,” Marcus stated coldly, handing over the forged DNR.
Dr. Harrison scanned the document, his face turning ghostly pale as he recognized the forged institutional signatures.
“This is a federal felony,” Dr. Harrison whispered in disbelief, looking from Marcus to the struggling Eleanor by the door.
“And that’s not all, doctor,” Sarah added, holding up the tampered IV bag retrieved from the side table. “Run a chemical panel immediately.”

Dr. Harrison took the IV bag, inspecting the puncture seal with an expert eye that confirmed the worst possible fears.
“This solution has been spiked with a heavy dose of potassium chloride designed to induce cardiac arrest,” Dr. Harrison confirmed grimly.
