Chapter 11 - Federal Marshals Intercept Victoria At The Private Airstrip

Ignoring the dispatcher’s warning, Victoria grabbed her designer luggage and bolted out of her penthouse toward her private sports car.
She drove recklessly through the morning downtown traffic, running red lights as her tires screeched against the wet asphalt.
She arrived at the private Teterboro airstrip gate twenty minutes later, ramming her Mercedes straight through the automated security barrier.
Her white sports car skidded across the tarmac, coming to a halt directly at the base of a waiting twin-engine jet.
She leaped out of the car, grabbing her bags and sprinting toward the metal boarding stairs with desperate, tear-filled eyes.
Before her foot hit the first step, two black tactical SUVs roared across the runway, boxing in her vehicle completely.

Federal marshals poured out of the vehicles in full tactical gear, their weapons raised with professional, unwavering discipline.
“Victoria Kensington! Drop your bags and put your hands behind your back immediately!” a federal agent commanded through a bullhorn.
