Chapter 13 - The Decoy

Dante’s plan was a masterclass in psychological warfare and absolute, devastating deception.

He ordered three heavily armored, heavily tinted SUVs to tear out of the front gates of the estate at exactly midnight.

They drove erratically toward the city limits, aggressively projecting the desperate, frantic illusion of a high-value target attempting to flee.

Alejandro’s hidden scouts, completely blinded by their own arrogance, immediately took the bait and radioed the coordinates to their boss.

Within minutes, heavily armed cartel vehicles swarmed the mountain roads, violently cutting off Dante's decoy convoy in a coordinated ambush.

Gunfire erupted into the night sky, completely shredding the expensive vehicles and shattering the bulletproof glass into a million pieces.

But when Alejandro’s men eagerly approached the smoking wreckage to claim their ultimate prize, they found the SUVs entirely empty.

The vehicles had been driven by remote autopilot systems rigged with massive, high-yield explosive charges in the trunks.

Before the rival hitmen could even scream a warning, the rigged SUVs detonated simultaneously in a blinding, deafening ball of fire.

The violent explosion completely wiped out Alejandro’s frontline assault team, sending a massive shockwave echoing across the dark valley.

While the Sinaloa scouts were burning on the mountain, Dante’s real strike force was quietly maneuvering through the desert shadows.

He had successfully drawn the enemy’s main defenses entirely away from their central, fortified compound in the neighboring province.

Dante sat in the back of a stealth transport helicopter, wiping grease paint across his cheek as he stared at the approaching target.

He was not just a cartel boss sitting in a glass tower; he was the apex predator returning to the absolute thrill of the hunt.

Tonight, he would personally teach Alejandro exactly why the Navarro name was spoken in whispered, terrified prayers across the country.
