Chapter 17 - The Fall of Alejandro
Deep in the isolated, unforgiving desert, Alejandro was tied aggressively to a heavy wooden chair inside an abandoned, rotting warehouse.
He was completely covered in his own blood, sobbing pathetically as Dante’s men systematically dismantled every single piece of his massive empire.
Dante stood over him, holding a satellite phone that was actively broadcasting the complete, devastating surrender of the Sinaloa lieutenants.
"Your men have laid down their weapons, your bank accounts are completely drained, and your terrifying reputation is entirely dead," Dante stated coldly.
Alejandro looked up with swollen, terrified eyes, finally understanding the true, horrifying depth of the catastrophic mistake he had made.
"Please, Navarro, I will leave the country tonight and you will never see my face again," Alejandro begged, completely stripped of his arrogant pride.
Dante casually pulled the pristine silver bullet from his pocket, the very same bullet that had violently threatened his pregnant wife.
"You do not get to threaten my family and then simply walk away into the sunset," Dante whispered, loading the silver bullet into his revolver.
Dante raised the heavy weapon, pressing the cold steel barrel directly against Alejandro’s trembling, sweat-soaked forehead.
"This is exactly what happens when you dare to wake up the devil," Dante said, his voice echoing with absolute, terrifying finality.
The single gunshot rang out loudly across the empty desert, permanently erasing the last remaining threat to the Navarro bloodline.
Dante turned away from the lifeless body, his mind completely shifting away from the brutal war and focusing entirely on getting back home.

His phone buzzed aggressively in his pocket; it was Mateo, calling to frantically report the sudden, violent security breach in the basement.
Dante’s heart completely stopped in his chest, an overwhelming, primal terror flooding his veins as he sprinted desperately toward the waiting helicopter.
