Chapter 28 - Total Eradication

Dante completely ignored the pathetic, desperate begging of the broken man cowering violently on the filthy carpet.
He walked slowly across the small room, his heavy combat boots crunching aggressively on the broken glass of the dropped liquor bottle.
"You completely forfeited the sacred right to call yourself her father the exact second you left her to desperately starve in the slums," Dante stated with chilling finality.
Dante casually pulled his heavy, suppressed pistol from his shoulder holster, his dark eyes entirely devoid of any human empathy or mercy.
"She is a queen now, completely untouchable, deeply loved, and entirely protected by an empire you could never possibly comprehend."
Arturo aggressively raised his trembling hands to shield his face, but Dante did not hesitate for even a fraction of a second.
A single, entirely muffled shot echoed quietly in the damp, decaying room, completely ending the pathetic, incredibly miserable existence of Arturo forever.
Dante turned around and walked calmly out of the ruined motel room, leaving the massive cleanup operation entirely to Mateo’s efficient, highly skilled crew.
He entirely stripped off his dark tactical jacket before stepping back into his expensive SUV, completely leaving the bloody violence exactly where it belonged in the shadows.

He was absolutely not bringing the terrifying cartel kingpin back home to his beautiful, completely innocent children.
He was driving back exclusively as a devoted, deeply loving father who had successfully eradicated a disease threatening his perfect sanctuary.
